Wedding Wednesday: Punk Rock-Inspired Wedding

Each and every wedding is different. Some weddings use small, subtle accessories to highlight the theme of this special occasion, others incorporate elements every which way you turn. For Bryan and Ronda, there were punk rock elements accentuating the details of the day in everything from the ring bearer's style to the reception music.

The day started off with an outdoor ceremony in Joshua Tree. Having the wedding festivities in Joshua Tree created an added bonus of being a destination wedding for the guests. Out of town friends and family spent time sight-seeing, hiking, and getting together with other guests for dinner prior to the wedding day. One out-of-town couple even turned the wedding weekend into a two week road trip!

The couple chose to have a Jewish ceremony to honor the groom's faith. Ronda chose her perfect dress, made of lace with three-quarter length sleeves and short collar.

After the ceremony everyone made their way to the outdoor reception.

Guests ordered food from an outdoor food truck. Cake and a variety of desserts were provided for guests at the reception including everything from macaroons to dessert cups.

The party included heart warming speeches and best wishes for the bride and groom.

Not only was the reception a great party, it was also a great concert! Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go's was in attendance and teamed up with L7's Donita Sparks for a performance of "Our Lips are Sealed." The performance was followed with a rousing cover of  Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark" by a friend of the bride and groom.

Family and friends were given mini maracas to perform back up to Bryan and Ronda's performance of the KISS song "I Was Made for Lovin' You."

The guests definitely were in it to rock and roll all night. After the reception concluded, the party continued on to an after party where guests danced all the way into the night, wrapping up the party at 2am and making the wedding day an eleven hour affair. These guests definitely know how to have a good time.

Over 200 guests attended the events throughout the day to share in the joy alongside Bryan and Ronda. Photos were shared throughout the day using the couple's official wedding hashtag #thebroyals, a combination of the bride and groom's last names.

The day was filled with love, laughter, music and merriment making it an unforgettable day for Bryan and Ronda.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
