Wedding Wednesday: French-Inspired Occassion

It’s Wedding Wednesday and you know what that means, it’s time to explore the behind-the-scenes details that go into an everyday couple’s beautiful wedding. Say hello to Alexandra and Austin, this week’s beautiful bride and groom. Check out all of the planning that went into their gorgeous wedding in Dallas, Texas.

The couple welcomed 160 guests to their wedding. Family and friends received a gorgeous, French-inspired, invitation suite inviting them to the January wedding.
Sunlight flooded through the church windows as Alex walked down the aisle toward Austin.  Austin’s face gleamed as Alex glided toward the altar.
The blushing bride was adorned in a stunning Alyne by Rita Vinieris dress and beautiful open-toed Jimmy Choo heels. While Austin and his groomsmen dressed in elegant tuxedos, Austin put a spin on tradition by wearing a white bowtie to stand out from the rest of his black bowtied group.
The bridal party also opted for a matching element, all dressed in floor-length v-neck dresses.  The party’s pink and peach-colored peony and rose bouquets added a pop of color to the ensemble.
After the couple was joined in holy matrimony at Perkins Chapel at Southern Methodist University, they made their way to the reception.

The reception was gracefully decorated with pale hues and beautiful flowers. Family and friends shared smiles and laughs as they were seated at round tables adorned with small floral centerpieces.
The large wedding party all sat together at a long wooden table. The head table was decorated with tall floral centerpieces accentuated with tall, metallic candle holders and small vases full of white flowers. Austin and Alex’s reception was one to be remembered, providing something for everyone. Guests could choose from a variety of delicious food, including a chicken and waffles station.    Cheers to the bride and groom could be made throughout the evening with the couple’s chosen signature cocktail – a warm, spiked cider.

After a delicious dinner, the bride and groom cut into their moist, berry-filled, decorated three-layer cake. Covered in sweet, vanilla buttercream frosting, the cake was accented by greenery and leaves to enhance the floral decor of the reception.
To top off the incredible cake, guests ended the evening with shots (of milk) accompanied by fresh-baked cookies.
The happily married couple exited the reception with a sendoff from their guests under a gleaming arch made of glow sticks. Cheers to Alex and Austin, may their marriage be full of happiness, beauty, and milk and cookies.

Congrats again to Alex and Austin!
