Engaged in Greece, married in a beautiful garden, then off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon? Talk about living the dream. Planned by the bride and her mother, the event was like a fairy tale wedding Pinterest board come to life.
At just 19 years old, Youtube stars Aspyn Ovard and Parker Ferris enjoyed their dream wedding surrounded friends, family, and flowers. Lots of flowers. The garden wedding took place in St. George, Utah last fall, and the details are simply to die for. According to Aspyn, the couple stuck to a boho theme with a color scheme of white, green, and shades of pastel pink. Flowers served as the main source of decor, with other details such as dreamcatchers, hand painted wood signs, and string lights completing the wedding's romantic atmosphere.
To Aspyn's surprise, Parker got emotional when he saw his soon to be wife come out in her stunning lace gown complete with a flower crown, in total boho fashion. As the young bride walked down the aisle, friend and fellow Youtuber, Alex Aiona, serenaded the couple with an original acoustic song (check it out here!). Funny enough, the teen said she simply saw the dress online, thought it was pretty and ordered it! Something tells me my wedding dress shopping experience will not be so simple, but the tulle, lace, and mesh gown fit her and the wedding esthetic to a T.
Aspyn made the bold decision to do her own makeup on her wedding day but received some help on her stunning updo. Her blonde hair fell effortlessly around her face with the rest tied up loosely in a bun at the nape of her neck.
Rather than having a big bridesmaid party, Aspyn kept things intimate, having only her little sister standing by her side on the big day. Avrey's bridesmaid dress was a simple midi length a-line ensemble with a lace top and short sleeves. The gorgeous neutral look totally reminds me of our Dana dress here at Bubbling Brides, you can get it here.
After the ceremony, wedding guests were seated at beautifully decorated tables in their outdoor space. The floral arrangements included pink roses and feathers placed in a mixed array of jars and vases. These were set on top of wood slabs and pink linens with candles added to complete the look. On the menu? Comfort foods including grilled cheese and tomato soup finished off with pumpkin spice cake in a nod to their autumn wedding.
As the sun started to set, dozens of strands of string lights flipped on to set the mood for the rest of the outdoor wedding reception. The night was complete with music, dancing, and a sparkler send off for the happy couple. Side note: can someone please confirm that sparkler sendoffs are safe and will not put burn holes in my gorgeous gown? Please and thank you.
The best part of all? The whole day was captured and combined into one gorgeous 8 minute highlight reel that I have watched (and cried over) too many times to count. This is now going to be a must have at my future wedding, granted I will not be getting nearly 3 million views on it like these kids (cue jealous eye roll).
