For an adventurous and outdoor-loving couple Edgewood, Tahoe was the perfect wedding destination for Lindsey and Daniel. Combining their two favorite Summer vacations, the beach and the mountains for one unforgettable evening.
Although Tahoe is quite a trek for the Connecticut couple, Edgewood has become a tradition to visit at least once a Summer. The couple shared their beloved vacation spot with their closest friends and family.
Lindsey took everyone's breath away as she walked down the aisle in a beaded cap sleeve mermaid dress. The embellishment and lace on the bust of Lindsey's dress was to die for! Just when you thought her dress couldn't get any better, Lindsey walked by showing off the tasteful embroidery followed by buttons half way down her back. Her bridesmaids were all matching in blush, empire waist, and strapless dresses with a slit up the left side. These looked very similar to our Julia Dress.
The groomsmen wore a light grey suit paired with a white button-up shirt and a simple grey tie. To correlate with the bridesmaids, each groomsmen had a blush hanky in their jacket pocket. The groom however, strayed away from his fellow men by wearing a white tie and a white hanky to match his lovely bride. The colors of the bridal party perfectly coincided with the turquoise lake, the light sandy beach, and the rich greens of the forest.
We cannot forget about the cutest members of Lindsey and Daniel's bridal party, the ring bearer and flower girls! The girls wore a Queen Anne cut flower girl dress, with a tulle skirt. The ring bearer had an important job of keeping the bears away from steeling his flower girls and the rings. He wore light grey overalls, with a white button-up shirt, a white bowtie. To complete his outfit, he wore a light grey newsboy cap. Are these not the cutest kids you've ever seen?
After a morning full of thunderstorms, the sky cleared and the sun came out to allow the couple to exchange vows looking out over Lake Tahoe. Lindsey and Daniel surprised their guests with acoustic guitarist Milton Merlos, to play not only at their ceremony but also throughout the night.
After the ceremony, guests were eager to take photos looking out over the lake at the cocktail reception. As the sun began to set, guests were escorted into the lavish reception room for a night filled of love, laughter, and nature.
Although the guests were seated inside, Lindsey and Daniel wanted to bring guests a piece of the outdoors. The couple decorated the guests' tables with small plants wrapped in burlap, and a tiny tree stump with a bath bomb in the center for each guest to take home. The bride wanted to personally thank her lovely bridesmaids and gave them customized clutches to use at the reception.
The couple finished the night off by nailing their first dance, with the moonlit sky lighting up the dance floor as Milton Merlos played in the background.
